1010Data  analyzes data for companies in the retail, branded goods and financial services businesses. Clients include Coca Cola, Nestle, Morgan Stanley, Chase Bank and Procter & Gamble. It is a New York start-up, bought for $500 million in 2015 by Advance Communications.

Colonel (R) Patrick J. Mahaney, Jr.  is a senior adviser to the undersecretary of Defense. Earlier he was Director of the Chief of Staff of the Army’s Strategic Studies Group. He commanded the Asymmetric Warfare Group, a Special Forces battalion and a Special Operations Task Force in Afghanistan. Besides Afghanistan, his combat experience includes Iraq, Panama and other areas. He has a BA from New York University and Master’s degrees from Columbia University and the University of Perugia (Italy). Fluent in French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, Mahaney is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and honorary chief of the NYC fire department. His essay is included in the 2016 book Guarenteeing America's Security in the 21st Century.

Aleksandr Yampolskiy co-founded Security Scorecard in 2013. With venture funding from Sequoia Capital and others, it provides a security rating and monitors the cyber-security of companies and organizations. Clients include Netflix, Etsy, McDonald’s, Hilton, Stony Brook University, Harrys and Symantec. Earlier he was CTO at Cinchcast and BlogTalkRadio, the largest online talk radio and podcast hosting platform. He led security and compliance at Gilt Groupe. Yampolskiy has a B.A. in mathematics and computer science from New York University and a Ph.D. in Cryptography from Yale University.


David Teten ( is a Managing Partner with HOF Capital, an international venture capital fund.  He is interested in fintech, technology-enabled services, analytics, artificial intelligence, sales/recruiting technology, SaaS, and international startups. Earlier he was a partner for 6 years with ff Venture Capital, one of the best-performing seed- and early-stage venture capital firms in the U.S.  He was a serial fintech entrepreneur. David has advised Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group, Icahn Enterprises, LLR Partners ($1.4b fund), Birch Hill Equity Partners (C$2B fund), and other institutional investors. David holds a Harvard MBA and Yale BA.
